A Symposium Video by IT, SRM

Some IT people in my college have made this video promoting their Symposium, ‘Authentikos’. They start out nice but drag a bit in the middle and toward the end too. Anyway, it was funny and I had a laugh or two here and there. It could have been done better with some slick editing though.

At the end it should say, “Authentikos - The Real Daily Kos”

Ha ha! These departments come up with weird names, Greek and Latin names. And they go about explaining why they named it so, drawing up obscure historical significance and such. It’s pure torture.

A decent idea but editing was really poor. And yeah, it was really long. Wanted to stop watching in the middle but persevered on. Too much importance on Tamil cinema though.

@All : Same idea, same concept. What other colleges are following, followed… They should try to do some thing different using their creativity…. But so far it is nice….

  5. Arun Says:

And if they had taken English movies as the theme, few would have understood. People want regional flavour, you can’t do anything about it.

Shiva, I haven’t watched other colleges’ video. This one was the first. Besides, I have seen your Mech people’s video and it was different from this.

@Arun : No arun. During 7th sem i used to attend so many symposiums like Madha(CSE & IT) and many more.. Even during my 2nd,3rd so on…. I saw so many videos of this type… But compared to those things this is some what nice… As you said people should try some thing different through english films yaar……

  7. Arun Says:

If you say so. Hey, you are the one who got a 200/200 in your project. So, you should have been to symposiums, no doubt. :)

  8. Marc Says:

Why use English films? What happened to coming up with stuff on your own?

  9. George Says:

What happened to coming up with stuff on your own? Ask Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, they have a lot to answer for.

  10. Arun Says:

    In short supply.

  11. Marc Says:

    Who?
