Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels

Awesome!

I’m really bored so I thought of posting something. And I’m really pissed at my semester results. So what the hell, here’s a post. Coincidently, I was watching this movie for like the fourth time when I got to know the results were out for us. So I paused the movie and checked my results. I was, you know, that feeling when your results aren’t very good & a train of thoughts, emotions and whatnots rattle the tracks of your brain. What’s that feeling again, yes, guilty. I resumed watching the movie. This movie really took my mind off the results (only for the time being).

This is a movie about four Londoners who garner a whopping 1 million pounds to play poker with a local ‘gizmo’ shop owner. They lose and what ensues is a complete pandemonium with typically extraordinary British humour chipped in. Each character is distinct and funny in its own ways.

The cast is just perfect and blends well with the storyline. It’s pretty much like Pulp Fiction & Snatch, where incidents of all the characters are somewhat interconnected, but goddamn side-splitting fun all the way to the end.

A must see movie. Oh and watch out for Mr. Rory breaker. He’s hilarious. And you know what, it was released in 1999.

Thanks for giving away the story. Now I won’t watch it.

What? where? Then what should I say? just good?

  3. Arun Says:

Btw, a copy is with Adithya I guess. Watch it, real good.

  4. Marc Says:

Just describe the genre and how professional the movie is or whether it’s good. That’ll do. Discuss the production values and acting instead of the story.

  5. Arun Says:

Show me any review that does the way you say. I’m more fascinated by characters and the way the story moves than production values.

  6. Marc Says:

Then stop giving it away for others.

Santhosh, thanks. Honestly, this is nothing. Check my friends’ in my blogroll. I’d wish you to visit them n comment as well. Btw, I visited the blog you talked about. It was good. I wish he’d show off his pun in more than just one or two lines; in a sort of descriptive way on a common subject. Then it’d be truly awesome.
